Powered by Deepgram nova-3
sipsip.ai uses Deepgram's nova-3 model for audio transcription — the same engine used by enterprise customers like NASA, Twilio, and LeMonde. In independent benchmarks, nova-3 achieves a word error rate (WER) of approximately 3–5% on clean English audio, competitive with Google Speech-to-Text and Amazon Transcribe. Its noise-robustness makes it accurate on real-world recordings like podcasts, meetings, and field audio where background noise is common.

Supported Meeting Platforms & Export Formats
sipsip.ai's audio transcriber works with recordings exported from every major meeting platform. Export your recording as described below, then upload the file directly at sipsip.ai/tools/audio-transcriber.
Zoom
MP4 / M4AZoom saves local recordings to your computer as an MP4 video and a separate M4A audio file. Find them in Documents → Zoom. Upload the M4A for a faster transcription or the MP4 if you need the full video audio — both formats are supported.
Google Meet
MP4Google Meet recordings are saved automatically to the organiser's Google Drive in MP4 format. Open Drive, locate the “Meet Recordings” folder, download the MP4, and upload it here. Transcription typically completes in under 30 seconds for a one-hour call.
Microsoft Teams
MP4 / DOCXTeams meetings recorded to OneDrive or SharePoint are stored as MP4 files. Open the chat thread, click the recording, and download via the three-dot menu. Teams also generates an auto-caption DOCX — but for higher accuracy, upload the MP4 to sipsip.ai instead.
Webex
MP4 / ARFWebex cloud recordings export as MP4 from your Webex account under Recordings → Download. Older on-premises recordings may be in ARF format — convert them to MP4 first using the Webex Network Recording Player. MP4 files upload directly to sipsip.ai.
Loom
MP4In Loom, open your video, click the three-dot menu, and select Download video to save an MP4. Loom's built-in captions are limited to English; upload the MP4 to sipsip.ai for 30+ language support and a clean copyable transcript.
Speaker Diarization — Who Said What
sipsip.ai uses Deepgram's built-in speaker diarization to automatically detect when a new speaker begins talking and label each segment accordingly (Speaker 1, Speaker 2, etc.). This works without any configuration — just upload your meeting audio and the transcript will show speaker turns inline. For named speaker labels tied to specific participants, sign up for a free sipsip.ai account and use the full meeting transcription workflow, which lets you assign names to each detected speaker after transcription.
